2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) and delivered via its content delivery network. In doing so, Cloudflare processes connection data (including your IP address) in order to deliver the content and to ensure security and availability. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and efficient provision). A data processing agreement is in place with the provider; for data transfers to third countries, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses are relied upon.

3. Server log files

When this website is accessed, information transmitted by your browser is automatically recorded in server log files: browser type and version, the operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request and IP address. This data is not combined with other data sources. The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR to ensure trouble-free operation and to improve our offering.

4. Contact form and getting in touch

If you send us enquiries via the contact form or by email, your details (company, contact person, email, telephone, desired route and message) are stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation/performance of a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding). We do not pass this data on without your consent and delete it as soon as storage is no longer required, provided that no statutory retention obligations prevent this.

5. Cookies

As a matter of principle, this website does not use any tracking or marketing cookies. Technically necessary cookies or comparable technologies may be set by our security and CDN provider to prevent misuse; the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR or § 25 (2) TDDDG (strictly necessary). Consent-requiring cookies are only used after you have given your consent.

6. Fonts

To ensure a consistent display of fonts, web fonts are loaded locally from our server; no connection to third-party servers (such as Google Fonts) takes place in the process.

7. Recipients and data processing

To handle enquiries and for the transport operation, we use carefully selected service providers (e.g. hosting, helpdesk/ticket system and, where applicable, transport partners) who act as processors pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR or on their own responsibility. Data is only passed on insofar as this is necessary for the performance of the contract or permitted by law.

8. Retention period

We process and store personal data only for as long as this is necessary for the respective purposes. Commercial and tax law retention periods apply to business records (regularly 6 or 10 years). After that, the data is deleted.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights: access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to the processing (Art. 21). Insofar as the processing is based on consent, you can withdraw this at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).

10. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data. The competent authority is, among others, the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
